Solid silver and silver-plated cutlery can be cleaned in the dishwasher. However, the soft surface can be easily scratched. Please also note that the dishwasher detergent used for these items must not contain citric acid. Special problems may occur with antique silver cutlery when combined with high temperatures in the dishwasher.
